“Yet they still lock the GB out” – Supporters are absolutely fuming with Celtic for what they are allowing to happen at the club

Celtic Park

Celtic’s win over Feyenoord was noticeable for three different reasons.

The first is that the team showed fighting qualities that we haven’t seen in a long time from Brendan Rodgers’ side.

The second was the notable drop in atmosphere with the Green Brigade missing. Yes, when Zadok the Priest belted out there was an incredible roar from the Parkhead crowd but that was just about it.

The third is this incessant need for an element of the fanbase thinking that it’s okay to be a pitch invader.

What’s this all about? Since when did this become a thing? For one, it needs to stop. These ‘fans’ are going to cost Celtic a fine from UEFA and at a time when the governing body is already breathing down the club’s neck, pitch invaders are not a good look.

And what exactly are Celtic doing to stop it? Against Feyenoord there were three different instances of this moronic behaviour and in each time these guys were cheered on by the crowd.

Have a word with yourselves lads. And the Celtic fans on X were less than impressed.

One fan said, “We need the staunch steward at parkhead to sort these guys out.”

Another blasted the board, “Some laugh if Celtic get a £2m fine for this yet they still lock GB out.”

One Celtic fan commented, “ These will be the wee gimps that also call it parkers.” and this fan raged, “Genuinely does do my nut in these wee guys, utterly pointless.”
