“Get help, mate. Seriously.”, “The desperation is real!” – Celtic fans roast moonhowling ‘anti-corruption investigation’ Man City claim

Brother Walfrid Statue, Celtic Park

Out of all the utter dross I read on Twitter written about our club by the deluded Ibrox support, this one really takes the biscuit. Seriously.

For all the bluff and bluster that they deny liquidation and that they are a new club, the news that Man City are being investigated for over 100 counts of financial impropriety sent the Ibrox hordes into meltdown.

Celtic have never hidden the fact that we have a close relationship with The City Group.

It has actually benefitted us really well over the years as loan spells for Patrick Roberts and Jason Denayer helped us keep our grip on domestic dominance.

Hell, it even helped us get our manager.

So it is no surprise that the moonhowlers over at Ibrox latched onto the story that Man City are being investigated and somehow tried to tie us into it. Like this utter clown here:

Let’s just gloss over the fact that Denayer, Arzani, Roberts and Guidetti never actually transferred over to us and the fact that The City Group don’t actually own or run any part of Celtic, apart from those key elements, it’s a great story!

A desperate story and one that the irony hasn’t been lost on me. Imagine financial irregularities allowing a sporting advantage. I thought that wasn’t a thing and trophies are won on the pitch and not in the boardroom.

Except those trophies were won with player bought and paid for with money that was undeclared………

But hey, ho. This desperate idiot was roasted and roasted well by the Celtic supporters:
