Ah you can’t beat a bit of the old Hugh Keevins foot in mouth.
The veteran journalist always looks to have his boots on, strapped and ready to plant them into Celtic at any given opportunity.
And Saturday was no exception.
Even when the Hoops were 2-1 up, Keevins was already ploughing his steel toe caps into the fans when he said tat ‘Every Celtic fan says if we had taken our chances we would probably have won the Champions League.”
A pretty pathetic comment to make when he knows only too well that is not the case.
But the best thing about this?
Keevins makes an absolute @rse of himself for about fifteen minutes of the program (condensed into 4 beautiful minutes here) making all kinds of wild suggestions like the manager needing to find a 30 goal striker even though we’ve scored over 40 goals this season to Celtic ‘not looking the part’ and ‘having a shocker’ when Dundee United equalised.
