You know what I love about the Scottish media? It’s filled with pundits that don’t have an agenda.
They speak about the game from a neutral stand point and tell it how it is without a hint of bias.
And for those new to the site, I’m being a sarcastic b*stard.
Because we all know that when people like Kris Boyd, Alex Rae and Ally McCoist speak, they do so from a blue point of view.
They do try to hide it, but it’s embarrassing just how quickly the mask slips.
And that’s exactly what happened to Kenny Miller on BBC Sportsound’s review of the weekend action.
When speaking about the VAR controversy at Tynecastle and the Celtic ‘penalty’, Miller gave this incredible explanation of why it wasn’t given.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound, Miller said, “I think if that one’s given and VAR looks at it, there is a potential that could have been chalked off.
“I feel his hands where by his side They weren’t raised. They were in a natural-ish position.
“Again, I was speaking to a referee yesterday, he said that was probably the right decision.
“So again, you’ve got to trust these guys and with the hindsight with all the replays that we’ve got.
“I could understand the real frustration after just having conceded a VAR decision literally minutes beforehand, but I think I think it was the right decision.”
Natural-ish position. WTF is that?
It’s either natural or its not? Or the Hearts player is a bloody contortionist and his arm really is shaped like that.
It’s no surprise really is it though?
The media is littered with ex-Rangers players as pundits and as long as that continues, expect the anti Celtic headlines and opinions to continue.
