Ange Postecoglou’s brutally slaps down rivals referee conspiracy theories

Over a third of the way into the season and Celtic are still waiting on their first penalty of the season.

Think about it.

A team that spends over 70% of its time attacking their opponents in their own half and penalty box has still to be awarded a penalty kick.

Pretty incredible stat that.

And it blows away the theory that Celtic always get the big calls when it matters.

And with the introduction of VAR, you would think getting the big decisions would be easier.

Not so.

And Ange called it out, big style today.

Denied a perfectly legitimate goal in the first half and two penalties, Operation Stop Celtic was in full swing at Tynecastle and Ange was in no mood for VAR talk post match, “I don’t like the standing about. I don’t think we here to wait for people to make decisions.

I think we had a clear cut handball, but apparently that’s not good enough for a penalty.

“I keep hearing opposition managers saying we get everything, the only penalties we’ve taken so far are in training.

I’m looking forward to one.”

A swiping dig at rival managers and those mentalists over at Ibrox, Postecoglou was bang on the money and hopefully, now, we’ll have no more ‘honest VAR mistakes’.

Jesus, can’t believe that will be a thing before the end of the season.
