Yeah, you know how much a derby defeat hurts don’t you?
For us, it’s just a recent thing. Regularly skelping Rangers over the last 5 years kind of makes you appreciate the finer things in life.
Like going to work with a smile on your face or wondering how many goals we will beat them by this time.
And last season, we had a dose of reality. We took our medicine from them and moved on.
But what last season did was give the Rangers fans a false sense of their status in Scotland.
So distracted by the ’55’ they couldn’t see the reasons why Gerrard left the club in September and that the clubs financial position meant that they can’t spend any money or offer players extended contracts.
And that is why Sunday’s defeat has hit them hard. They have now just realised that last season was a false dawn and now they are baying for blood.
And this time, it’s not the fenian variety!
