The Glasgow Derby is almost upon us and with just over 48 hours to go, the tension is hitting both sets of fans but in very different ways.
The mood in the Celtic camp (fans that is) is one of confidence.
Confidence in the manager, the style of play and the players to deliver a massive result that could secure the title this season.
In the other camp, there are nerves, and rightly so.
Because our rivals fans know that if they lose on Sunday, the league, and guaranteed Champions League money is all but gone.
Which is why Ally McCoist’s comments are interesting. On Talksport this morning, the former Rangers striker was bullish live on air when he claimed that Celtic should be fearful come Sunday.
But he was quickly slapped down by Alan Brazil when he revealed McCoists real fears about a doing on Sunday, “Do you know something, it’s amazing how he changes in 24 hours. I was sitting having a glass with him yesterday.
“He’s like that, ‘We’re playing rubbish at the moment, I fancy Celtic to beat us’.
“How can he come on, live on air and say that?”
It seems even Ally get’s the magnitude of this match and the consequences of failing to win the league.
