It seems a week cannot go by without UEFA sending out their weekly Celtic appreciation tweet
As the Hoops start to make their mark on the tournament, the buzz around the club really got going when Ange Postecoglou’s side burst onto the scene when after just twenty minutes, the Hoops blew Spanish giants away and were it not for some defensive lapses, Celtic should have recorded a famous win on Spanish soil.
Celtic eventually went on to lose the game but the memory of the football they played in that game, and to a certain extent, the Bayer Leverkusen game, the Parkhead club have set the tournament alight.
And what has set the Celtic fire under UEFA’s belly? That Jota pass for the Kyogo goal.
It took the internet by storm and now Europe’s governing body has asked the Hoops fans to choose their favourite goal between Kyogo and former Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham’s 95th minute winner against Lazio in Rome almost two years ago:
And it has caused a stir amongst the Paradise fans.
Many believe that Jota’s is the best because of the overall execution by him and Kyogo, but many are of the opinion that for significance alone, Ntcham’s is the most important.
It’s all about opinions and you can give yours here in our poll but these Celtic fans were in no doubt about what their favourite was:
Oh come on. Ntcham in Rome was literally one of our most historic of all time. 😂

I think in this situation you have to take into consideration the opponent and the fact we were away from home and never won in Italy. Ntchams is a far superior goal for all those reasons.

Better overall goal – Kyogo’s.
More important goal – Ntcham’s.

Lazio result was the best however touch & technique goes to Kyogo, first touch wins my vote

Ntcham against Lazio is the better goal for me but Kyogo’s goal is a belter in its own right 👌🍀

Ntcham goal was a belter. I went for Kyogo Furuhashi he’s the top bhoy just now at Celtic
