Celtic Fan Makes Incredible Furuhashi Claim On Live Radio.

Kyogo Furuhashi has taken Celtic by storm. The Japanese striker has come to Scotland and set the scene alive with not only his goal scoring exploits but also his non stop running, harrying and lung bursting efforts for the team.

With Kyogo scoring six goals (going on ten) in six games, there is no doubt this boy is supremely talented.

With the team just now starting to get to grips with Ange Postecoglou’s footballing style, it is frightening, that even such early days, how far this team has come and where they could be in the next 3-4months.

There was one Celtic fan that reckons he knows exactly where Kyogo will be come the end of the season and he called Clyde 1 Superscoreboard to tell the panel of Mark Wilson and Gordon Dalziel, “I’m telling you that the amount of goals this boy is going to score.

The Celtic family are going to have so much to look forward to with this wee guy in the team and I’m going to forecast right now.

He’ll score between 40-50 goals this season.

The pundit’s reaction was was priceless and Gordon Dalziel replied, “Do you want the reel that in a little bit and take 10, 15 20 off it a wee bit?”

The caller replied, “Well, let’s put it this way guys. He is lightning quick. Look for these movement off the ball, the speed, the way he runs into space and everything else. If only whoever’s on the ball could could see him make that run. But see once somebody does eventually do it, he’s going to score goals galore.”

And I’ll tell you something, it is pretty hard to disagree with the caller.

We are saying he’s scored six in six games. But those six games have come in 14 days! It’s an incredible stat and although 40-50 goals may be a stretch, you wouldn’t bet against him being the countries top scored come May.

And to top of the call, the Celtic fan signed off with a bold and confident second prediction, “Furuhashi is going to be as big a name for Celtic as Larsson.”
