GREEK MEDIA REPORT MIDFIELD MOVE IMMINENT

It’s the worst kept secret in football however when it was first mentioned not many people could believe it.

Olivier Ntcham, once one of the hottest midfielders in Scotland was being let go by Celtic. On a free.

The Frenchman was subject to a £14m bid not so long ago and it was apparently rejected by the club as they made the steps to secure the first team for the push for the now infamous ten in a row.

Now Celtic are faced with letting him go for free as they seemingly will not take up the extra years option on the Frenchman’s contract.

Greek reporter Giannis Chorianopoulos, has said that AEK Athens are in the driving seat to land the off form midfield man for FREE as his contract will expire on the 1st July

Ntcham has suffered from poor form this season and was widely known as one of the offending first team players then boss, Neil Lennon fingered as a “wantaway” star after the notorious Ferncvaros press conference.

There is no doubt Ntcham has ability and talent, but with his ill fated loan spell at Marseille, it seems it’s his attitude that is on question.

It will be interesting to track his career should the move to Greece get pushed through but his spell at Celtic Park will forever be sullied by his antics as Celtic chased history and that infamous 10 in a row.
