“Happy at Celtic” – Sky Sports journo quashes the anti-Celtic Scottish mainstream media’s mischief making

I always thought this from the start.

Contract talks break down at all clubs at various points in the season and just because that happens, then it doesn’t automatically mean that a player is unhappy and will leave the club.

Unless you live in Scotland that is.

The media were absolutely creaming themselves this week with the news that contract talks had broken down between Celtic and Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic.

They were absolutely orgasmic. And at a time when Rangers just announced their new manager? Many of Scotland’s pen pushers were on cloud nine.

The only thing missing was the cracked Celtic badge.

How unfortunate it is though that Sky Sports’ very own Anthony Joseph had to throw a spanner in the works and slap down these ‘exclusives’ from the media.

Talks on an improved deal for Giorgos Giakoumakis also stalled in the last couple of weeks. It's believed Giakoumakis is happy at Celtic & both parties still hope to come to an agreement.

Celtic in a strong position with Juranovic & GG – both contracted until summer of 2026.

Back to the drawing board for these clowns.

They are best served just copy and pasting each others stories to help push their numbers whilst sites like this rip apart their anti-Celtic nonsense,
