Stephen Welsh has caused a superb meltdown on the Rangers Rabble podcast and he’s not even playing for Celtic.
The Celtic defender is out on loan at Motherwell and Welsh’s goal midweek against Rangers dismantled the Ibrox club’s title bid.
This is what caused the upcoming meltdown on the Rangers Rabble:
But what was it Welsh did specifically to cause this epic meltdown?
Stephen Welsh was ‘laughing’ at Rangers as a Celtic player
Despite being at Motherwell, Welsh’s goal celebration really hurt the boys at the Rabble as they took offence to the Celtic defender’s goal celebration.
The Rangers Rabble ranted, “Let’s be honest, I don’t care what anybody says, that’s three points in the bag for them sewn up.
“Because it’s a way at Aberdeen, Aberdeen don’t take points off Celtic. They might have beaten them in a cup final. That’s different.
“They do not take points off Celtic. So we can forget that. Our best hope is that Kilmarnock may be do us a favour.
“But we are going to start that game, which should be first versus second, in all likelihood, third. That’s how tight it is. That’s how big dropping those points so late on can be.
“Also, I’m sick of wee twerps like Stephen Welsh walking about laughing his head off, thinking it’s great fun. He was laughing last night because he celebrated for Celtic, not Motherwell.”
The rant encapsulated just how much Welsh has triggered the Rangers fans and how Celtic creeping up the table has piled the pressure on.
