Celtic fans will quickly pick up on the moment Michael Stewart directly questioned whether Rangers ever received a genuine big-money offer for Youssef Chermiti.
The Scottish media tied themselves in knots as they reported Rangers had recieved an £18m bid for their four-goal striker as Celtic fans were immediately sceptical.
Indeed, Rangers were humiliated when a journalist close to Fenerbache rubbished the story and that had Celtic fans in tears.
And now, Premier Sports pundit Michael Stewart joined in as he left former Rangers man Allan Hutton nowhere to hide with his verdict on the multi-million poiund Chermiti transfer ‘bid’.

Speaking about Celtic receiving a £25m bid for Arne Engels, Stewart used that as bait to tempt an answer from Hutton on the supposed transfer bid for Chermiti.
Stewart asked Allan Hutton on the Scottish Football Social Club, “I wanted to say Huts, would you have taken £18 million, I think it went up to for Chermiti, from Fenerbache, if that deal actually existed?”
Hutton: “Are you really going to ask me that question? Absolutely. I would have taken it, just like the Engrls for £25 million. I would have that also.
Stewart: “Would would you have taken £10 million as an obligation to buy for Gassama?”
Hutton: “Yes. Yes.”
Daryl Currie interjected, “Well, that one was a real bid, it seems.”
Stewart: “So Chermiti wasn’t a real one?”

Celtic fans have been sceptical about any bid materialsing for a striker who has barely played any first team football in the last 12 months, never mind hardly scored.
The Scottish media tried their best to sell the story, but Stewart and Celtic supporters saw right through it.
