As Celtic and Rangers links to Kieron Bowie continue it’s ‘pretty widely known’ what team the Hibs man supports

Should Celtic sign Kieron Bowie or do we let Rangers have the Hibs man?

Priced at £6.5m, it’s unlikely Celtic would buy Bowie for that kind of money, especially if fans look at his scoring record.

But it seems the young striker is in demand as the race heats up between Celtic, Rangers and other clubs to sign Bowie.

Paul John told A Celtic State of Mind, “What I found really interesting last night, talking about whether or not that striker is going to be Bowie, and there has been a few names mentioned.

But if it came down to it and and Celtic and Rangers both had bids accepted for Bowie, which team would he choose to sign for.

It seems like it would be a no-brained as ACSOM’s Paul John Dykes shares which football team the Hibs striker really supports.

Celtic ‘shouldn’t go anywhere near’ Kieron Bowie for Hibs’ price

Hibs want £6.5m for Bowie and that is a price Paul John believes Celtic should ignore as he give what he would pay for the Hibs man.

Paul John told A Celtic State of Mind, “What I found really interesting last night, talking about whether or not that striker is going to be Bowie, and there has been a few names mentioned.

“Callum Wilson, we spoke about last night, David Fofana, then Franko Kovacevic, who was brought into, I think in the last 24 hours, brought into the frame.

“There’s no wondering what he’ll be like at Tynecastle away and all this kind of stuff is like with the atmosphere and the toxicity of that. Bowie just slots right in.

“I would just look at the quality and also the value of the player. Because I’m in total agreement with you. I wouldn’t go anywhere near six and a half million pounds for Bowie.”

Kieron Bowie is ‘a Celtic fan’

So with Celtic and Rangers both interested, who would Bowie really sign for?

Paul John continued, “I’ve got a figure in my mind, three and a half with add-ons up to four million plus.

“There was an added element to the Broony deal as well, that Rangers were in for him. So there was an arms race there and that as well.

“I’m not sure if, I think Bowie is a Celtic fan. I think that’s pretty widely known, isn’t it?”

Despite Bowie being a Celtic fan or not, is he really good enough to play as the Hoops’ main striker?

We are not so sure. But at just 23, if Celtic get Bowie for less than £4m, he could develop into a star for the future.
