Dudu Dahan has been responsible for bringing a number of players to Celtic over the years.
Celtic’s recruitment nous is so poor, that the club heavily relies on agent recommendations.
And over the decades, Dahan has been Celtic’s go-to guy to get deals over the line.
But now, it appears that Celtic’s connection with Jocelin Ta Bi had opened a whole can of worms the Parkhead board never expected.
Including the revelation of Dahan’s horrible stance on Gaza and Palestine.
Dudu Dahan’s Israeli links are just the start of this Celtic story
Celtic have come under fire for the Ta Bi link as it appears to have opened a sordid past to agent, Dahan’s sympathies with the Israeli genocide of Palestine.
Jill Thomson from Scottish Sport for Palestine explains why.
Thomson told The Celtic Underground, “I posted about him earlier this year. I think some Celtic supporters kind of sort of drew my attention to him.
“And yeah, it’s interesting how many Israeli players he’s actually been linked to with regards to transfers to Celtic. I mean, these stats I think are maybe slightly outdated, because they’re from 2025. But yeah, I mean, 100% of the managers he represented in 2025 were Israeli and 78% of the players were Israeli.
“And there were a number of other players who weren’t Israeli. I think a couple of Ivorian players, which obviously this latest one’s also been linked to the club. And they actually play, you know, many of them, in this case, not, but many of them also played at Israeli clubs.”
Dudu Dahan’s ‘staggering’ Palestine stance is an affront to Celtic supporters
An Israeli agent with mostly predominantly Israeli clients is hardly anything to get worked up about, is it?
Well it is when Celtic fans hear the next part of this incredible story.
Thomson continued, “So yeah, I mean, quite staggering that the club is still doing deals with him, especially because in 2023, he dropped one of his players who was a Palestinian. And he was a former under 21 captain for the Israeli team, and he switched allegiance. He received death threats from the IOF.
“And he, the Israeli minister, threatened to revoke his citizenship. And his name was Atta Jaber. And in response to that, instead of standing by him, Dudu Dahan actually said through Scoutpush his agency.
“He said, Scoutpush no longer represents him. We will not tolerate any support of Gaza. We will sever ties with any player of ours who does so.
“And that was reported in the New Arab in November 2023. So the time is also kind of important, because I think this was just post October 2023 when he made the decision.
“So, I mean, how an agent can come out with a statement like that, which is, you know, completely, I think, just horrific, and then still expect to work with a club which has a mission statement to disassociate the club with racism, bigotry, sectarianism of any kind and promote Celtic as a club for all.
“I find that quite troubling.”
Celtic must stop any and all future dealings with this guy.
