Match Day at Celtic Park

What Rangers fans did at full-time vs SC Braga will have Celtic supporters in tears

Celtic supporters enjoyed a historic night in the Europa League this week. Rangers did not.

As Celtic hammered Feyenoord in the Netherlands, Rangers fans were being treated to dismal 1-1 draw against the 10 men of SC Braga.

The Ibrox result caused former Rangers man Ally McCoist a tremendous amount of pain whereas Celtic’s class performance has been lauded across the country.

As Celtic fans partied, Rangers supporters got back to what they do best as patience appears to be running out with Gers boss Danny Rohl.

And it can be heard in all its glory on BBC Sportsound.

Celtic fans will love listening to Ibrox boos as Rangers embarrass Scotland in the Europa League

Ad the full-time whistle blew on Rangers’ pathetic 1-1 Europa League draw, Ibrox made its voice heard once again and Celtic fans will love it.

Match commentator Liam McLeod said on BBC Radio Scotland, “The referee blows the final whistle and boos ring round Ibrox. Not for the first time this season. Nasser Djiga hits the deck.

“He is dismayed, no doubt, by his part in the equalising goal. A costly mistake that allowed Gabri Martinez to slot in past Jack Butland for a leveller when Braga were down to 10 men and had been for half an hour of the game when Salazar was shown a red for a headbutt aimed at Nico Raskin.”

You can listen to those beautfiul boos from 3 minutes 12 seconds in below:

I mean, the whistle hadn’t even stopped blowing and the boos rained down on the Rangers team from the Ibrox stands.

There is a cycle that all Rangers managers go through and it’s a meme commonly shared on social media.

We must have skipped past the ‘new manager is a genius’ part of that now, eh?
