The meltdown from the Rangers camp over the latest Celtic defeat had been absolutely glorious.
Celtic beat Rangers 3-1 in the Premier Sports Cup to ensure that the Ibrox club fail to win another meaningful Glasgow Derby match.
We all know that when it comes to the crunch, Rangers’ bottle crashes when facing Celtic in games that really matter.
But as the latest win over Rangers has been conveniently brushed over with the controversy over Celtic defender Auston Trusty, it appears that there is another ‘kick’ to a Hoops player’s head that had been glossed over by the media this week.
And strangely, not one person in the media is speaking about it.
Watch Rangers’ Diomande aim a sly and cowardly kick at injured Celtic player
Celtic fans have seen the attack on Johny Kenny by Rangers’ Derek Cornelius this week that went unpunished.
Well, it appears that there was another cowardly one committed (once again) by Diomande as a Hoops player’s lay down injured on the Hampden turf.
Have a watch of this:
Horror tackle from Cornelius followed by a kick to the head with about as much force as Trustys from Diomande. No red cards.

This guy continues to get away with murder every time Celtic play Rangers in a Glasgow Derby and it never gets picked up.
One day he will, and when that day comes it will be superb to watch the ensuing meltdown unravel.
