Callum McGregor put in a captain’s performance for Celtic in the win over Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup.
Not only did McGregor control much of the game, the Celtic captain contributed to the three goals with a screamer for the Hoops’ second goal in extra time.
Celtic beat Rangers in convincing fashion in extra time which was in stark contrast to a nervy second half that played out over the ten men of Rangers.
However, the Parkhead club’s pace and power proved too much as Celtic ran out 3-1 winners in the end.
And it was the Brazilian TV commentary of McGregor’s screamer that caught our eye.

Celtic had to play the patient build-up to McGregor’s goal as the Bhoys looked to break down a dogged Ibrox defence.
However, when they did, a Brazilian TV company enjoyed the goal just as much as Celtic supporters did.

That’s how commentary should be done in Scotland instead of listening to the inane ramblings of Kris Boyd and the BBC Sport-Rangers panel.
With Celtic now in the final with St Mirren, it will be interesting to see if the Brazilian TV station will be despatched to Hampden once again because that is commentary every fan will want to see now.
