Why Celtic fans will rage as The Scottish Sun omits domestic abuser’s clear Rangers connection

The media are brilliant at covering up bad news stories whenever it comes to Rangers. Celtic supporters have seen this for decades.

The media refuse to tackle the Rangers fans’ sectarian anti-Celtic songbook event though it is pumped into peoples homes and can be clearly heard either over TV or radio.

We are also used to the media’s Rangers liquidation denial as the hacks look to peddle the same club myth that Celtic fans point out as a continual lie.

And now, The Scottish Sun has gone one better as they tar the BBC and Sky Sports over a man charged with domestic abuse this week. Celtic fans will not fall for it.

Celtic fans know Bobby Nwanze well, and it’s not from Sky Sports or the BBC

Celtic fans remember Bobby Nwanze as the man who cried about being racially abused by Rangers fans inside Ibrox back in 2022.

Since then, the freelance journalist has done nothing but fawn over the Ibrox club and even defend their racist fans.

However, The Scottish Sun reported that Nwanze has now been dealt with by the Scottish courts after he domestically abused his partner. But he was labelled as a former ‘BBC presenter’.

Between 2019 and 2023 the courts said, “On a day in March 2023 she attended at her child’s school.

“The accused turned up unannounced at the school. He approached her, grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into him.

“Another parent at the school observed the accused and his behaviour and how she reacted and looked scared of the accused.

“The parent blocked the road with his car to allow the witness to get her [child] into the car and leave, ensuring that the accused did not follow her.

“This caused her fear and alarm.”

Nwanze was served with a three year restraining order as the well-known Rangers supporter is threatened with jail time if he contacts his ex-partner.

Celtic fans rage as Bobby Nwanze returns to social media

Now that the court case is over, Nwanze returns to social media with his Ibrox background picture after months of silence.

Taking to X, Nwanze said, “I understand newspapers have a job to do, but spreading misinformation is wrong.

“The assault charges against me were dropped because the allegations were false, a fact the papers won’t report.

“I’ve accepted my punishment and am focused on moving forward.

“I am not the monster or brute these stories portray. The public can make up their own minds.”

Well, Celtic fans certainly have:

Oh dear Bobby.
