’Unforgivable’ – The Celtic player who put in an ‘all-time horror show’ vs Kairat Almaty

Not one Celtic player gets pass marks from that shambolic Champions League display against Kairat Almaty.

Celtic’s defeat to Kairat was a calamitous performance that embarrassed the support.

It probably won’t embarrass the board as they collect more money from Celtic despite their gamble in the transfer market costing the club a whopping £40m.

However, as blame starts to shift from the board to the Celtic players, one has been pin pointed as having the worst game in ever in. Hoops shirts.

Hyunjun Yang’s ‘horror show’ for Celtic vs Kairat Almaty

Hyunjun Yang is now into his second season at Celtic and is yet to make a proper mark on the first team.

And he had been fingered as one of the worst performers in last night’s Champions League disaster.

The boys at 20 Minute Tims said, “I thought tonight, as far as Celtic performances go, as far as eleven guys out there in green and white Hoops, you will struggle to see much worse.

“Genuinely, I thought you would struggle to see much worse. And making a further point, just based on the performances tonight, I thought it was an all time horror show from Yang tonight.

“I couldn’t point a single Celtic player who I thought was up to much. Even the likes of Callum McGregor, I think we need to talk about.

“But the players just looked disinterested, out of ideas, no one taking anything else on.

“I think crucially, they were outworked as well. Kairat just worked harder than the Celtic team mainly, which is always unforgivable.”

Yang has flattered to deceive on a number of occasions, especially in the big games.

And after his performance in the Scottish Cup final defeat to Aberdeen, many Celtic fans would have gladly said goodbye to him over the summer.

After last night, the Celtic winger looks like he has driven the final nail into his coffin if and when Celtic sign another winger.

  1. I think you are completely wrong about Yang and I don’t know why you and others constantly pick on him. You seem to have an obsession with him which is unwarranted in my opinion. I think you are looking for scapegoats and he is your easy target. He had a better game than others of his colleagues, including MacGregor who you all let off the hook time and time again.

We were beaten by a much inferior side, ranked way below us and this is a team game. Unlike us, Sevco were walloped by a much superior side tonight, which was expected. The illness at our club runs deep and is as a result of poor planning by a completely inept board. That is where the blame lies.
