However, ACSOM’s John ‘Yogi’ Hughes has shared what he’s learned about the relationship between Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and the football doctor Paul Tisdale.
Brendan Rodgers and Paul Tisdale are ‘bosom buddies’ at Celtic
Rodgers has made it clear that he needs to reinforce the Celtic first-team squad but, as yet, only two signings (Benjamin Nygren and Kieran Tierney) can be regarded as proper first-team signings.
So as frustration grows and fingers of blame over lack of transfers point at Celtic, big John dispels one rumour doing the rounds from what he’s learned from people with connections to the club.
Big John said on A Celtic State of Mind, “But in terms of a couple of things I learned as well.
“It seems that Rodgers and Tisdale are bosom buddies. Tisdale is basically his appointment.
“They are working very, very closely together. So it’s not the fact that they are working to separate agendas.
“That’s not happening at all.”
It’s great to hear that Rodgers and Tisdale have a great relationship at Celtic and, hopefully, this will bear fruit before the summer transfer window closes on the 1st of September.
