“Because Brendan would just go to Dermot and I think it’s definitely, definitely Dermot Desmond that’s blocking everything happening because he wants to ensure he’s getting good value for money.
“And he’s the only person, in fact, who can block what’s happening here. So I just don’t believe Michael Nicholson is not presenting these deals.
“I think Michael Nicholson is talking to the players, coming up with a price, agreeing a fee and taking it to Dermot Desmond and Dermot Desmond said no, and I think that’s what the blockage is based on what we’ve heard.”
If this is the case then Celtic supporters are in for a rough summer as they wait for new players to be added to the squad.
