Rangers fans are guaranteed to get their anti-Celtic sectarian songbook whenever they go on their travels not only in Scotland but also in Europe.
UEFA hammered Rangers just last week for a racist banner the Ibrox support held up during their Europa League game against Fenerbahce last month.
Since then, Rangers released a statement on their website warning fans to behave themselves and to not take part in any ‘illegal’ singing whilst supporting the team in Dundee.
And as they celebrated closing the gap to Celtic to 13 points in their late 4-3 win, they just couldn’t help themselves as they broke into their anti-Celtic songbook before, during and after the win.
Rangers fans’ clear anti-Celtic singing was ignored by the BBC
From 23 minutes on, a rousing rendition of the Billy Boys was pumped into Celtic fans’ homes by BBC Sportsound less than 48 hours after Rangers warned their fans about taking part in ‘illegal’ songs at Dens Park.
The scenes of Rangers’ Cyriel Dessers celebrating with the large travelling Ibrox support were described as ‘absolutely incredible’ by the show’s host as once again the BBC turn a deaf ear to the bile emanating from the travelling Ibrox support.
Sky Sports dodged an anti-Celtic sectarian song fest by cutting their Rangers feed just in time
As for Sky Sports well, they can count themselves lucky as the highlights they posted ended just prior to the Ibrox support shaming themselves.

I suppose the question to be asked now is that do Rangers have the courage of their convictions and take action against these fans? There seems to be a concerted effort by the Ibrox club to stamp out sectarianism and bigotry ever since the San Francisco 49ers ‘takeover’ of Rangers began.
But unless they do something now after their very public warning, the Rangers board will be regarded as week by not only their clubs fans but also the rest of Scottish football.
