Celtic fans have enjoyed laughing at Rangers ever since the new club was formed in 2012.
Since that date, The Banter Years have been in full swing as Rangers lurches from one PR disaster to the next as Celtic’s trophy count continues to get larger.
The latest hilarious chapter was the Union Bears walking out of Ibrox in protest at the board’s failure to sack Philippe Clement as the Rangers continued to bottle challenging Celtic for the title.
And on that day in particular, the big spenders in the Ibrox hospitality suites were allegedly threatened by the club if they took part in the protest.
Rangers’ hospitality customers dealt harsh Man United threat over Ibrox walkout
A rumour started on social media that if the bigwigs in hospitality decided to join the Union Bear walkout, they would be dealt with by security chiefs.
It was rumoured on X, “My mate who works at Ibrox just sent me this: ‘Hospitality staff are telling fans who’ve shelled out thousands for season tickets that if they go back to their hospitality areas after walking out at 55 minutes, they’ll be escorted out by security out and forfeit their tickets for the Manchester United away game.
“He said people have already been escorted from the stadium for arguing with staff after being told this.”

When quizzed further, the fan goes on to say, “100% true, he was in the posh hospitality and he said the security was double than normal, messaged me after the game and said no one left at 55mins from the seats he was sitting in, cluster fu-k all round lol.
“He is watching the game just now. Said he had never seen anything like it before, basically warned if you leave don’t come back lol.”
Now, this could be made up but the rumour did gather traction and, to be honest, considering how that club handles its business, would anyone really be surprised if this is true?
I certainly hope that it is because it would cap off yet another hilarious circus act from that clown shoe of a club.
