Rangers fans’ pain at constantly being in Celtic’s shadow came to a head at Ibrox yesterday.
Celtic’s trophy count has broken the Rangers fans this season as Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers’ team surpassed the dead club and the new club’s combined trophy record.
Beating Rangers in the League Cup final caused a Celtic meltdown amongst the Ibrox support as they also watched their team capitulate in the Scottish Premiership.
But it was their team’s form after winning the last Glasgow Derby that has caused the Rangers fans to protest against Philippe Clement that has had Celtic fans laughing this month.
And to make matters better for the Celtic support, the Union Bears walked out in the 55th minute of Rangers’ win against St Johnstone in protest of the Ibrox board.
Celtic fans will love Rangers fans fighting in the Ibrox stands
So as the 55th minute struck, the Rangers fans did this:

And at that moment, the protest started off badly and then fell away completely.
Rangers fans come to blows as Celtic pain motivates ‘pathetic’ Union Bear attack
The good old Bear on Bear action is viewing every Celtic fan loves to see as one Ibrox supporter recorded this little snippet.
Rangers Fan v Rangers Fan today at Ibrox — terrible to see such poor behaviour 😳 pic.twitter.com/qjebC1F1Ao

Poor behaviour? That’s pretty standard for that mob to be honest. But not only was their fighting in the stands, there was also turmoil on social media as Rangers fans turned on each other.
Either attend Ibrox and walk out on 55 minutes or don’t attend at all. If you stay for the full 90 minutes you are an enemy of the club

There is many hundreds of messages like that posted on X and I’m not going to list them all but the one that caps it all off is this little belter from those lovely chaps over on Follow Follow:

Pelted by cups of juice and pies. Quite apt for a fan base that is overweight and who need to lay off the drink and drugs.
