It’s been a week for Celtic fans laughing at Rangers at the expense of English Premier League teams.
Just yesterday Born Celtic told how Chelsea was used as a perfect excuse to beat Rangers after Paddy Power reminded them once again that they are a new club.
And now, in an English Premier League game that had nothing to do with the Ibrox club, the bookmaking giant did it again and still managed to use the result, and Matt O’Riley, to take a pop at Rangers.
Ex-Celtic star Matt O’Riley’s winner for Brighton vs Man City earned Rangers dig
O’Riley came on as a second-half substitute for Brighton against Man City and popped up with a late goal to better Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League.
No sooner had the final whistle gone at the American Express Stadium than Paddy Power pressed send on this superb tweet.
It’s so easy for Matt O’Riley out there. He must feel like he’s playing against Rangers again.

O’Riley left Celtic for Brighton in the summer for a club-record fee of £25m+ but suffered a heartbreaking injury ten minutes into his Brighton debut against Crawley.
And not only did his comeback delight the Brighton fans, but the Celtic supporters were delighted for their former hero as well.
Here’s hoping this is the start of big things to come for O’Riley as he still holds a special place in the heart of the Hoops support.
