‘Serious question’ – Dominik Diamond’s cheeky Glasgow Derby quip after Celtic take command in title race

Celtic Park

The fallout of Rangers’ capitulation in Dundee is likely to continue until Sunday and the Celtic fans are loving every single minute of it.

Three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, Celtic head into the final five fixtures of the season knowing that the destination of the title is firmly in their grasp.

For Rangers, the post-mortem continues and they must be wondering just how it all went wrong after they won the Ibrox Glasgow Derby 3-3 just a couple of short weeks ago.

Rangers’ antics at the final whistle in that game has brought criticism from both sides of Glasgow and Dominik Diamond just couldn’t help but use that to take a swipe at the Ibrox club after bottling it in Dundee.

Rangers’ Celtic lap of honour rinsed

The lap of honour that Rangers took at Ibrox at full-time just after the 3-3 draw was pretty embarrassing. It was shrugged off as applauding the fans, but Philippe Clement’s actions and the crowd’s celebrations said otherwise.

And celebrity Celtic supporter, Dominik Diamond just couldn’t help but use that to take a swipe at Rangers for their Dundee draw on X.

Weirdly, they didn’t do a lap. And maybe it’s just as well because the Rangers fans made their feelings pretty clear at full-time exactly what they thought of their fallen heroes.

But for now, Clement has an easy game to bounce back from. Hearts in the Scottish Cup await Rangers and, let’s face it, they won’t need to try too hard to beat their wee cousins from the Auld Reekie on Sunday afternoon.
