After Aaron Ramsey, Ross Berkley seems to be the next ‘project’ to appease the Rangers fans.
Now call me a cynic, but I’m thinking this ‘rumour’ was started to take the gloss off the prices that the Ibrox side are charging for their Champions League packages. £150 is the cheapest package for the three homes games.
It can’t be a coincidence that the Barkley rumour has come out just after this announcement. Surely not?
I remember they signed Aaron Ramsey after we scudded them 3-0 at Celtic Park. Anyone would think he was signed to deflect the heat from that loss………
Anyway, as Barkley earns £200k per week at Chelsea, the chances of them signing him are next to zero unless they let him go for free, but then, what sort of financial package could they offer to get him to come to Govan?
