Like Jack Nicholson once famously shouted to Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men these Sevco fans just can’t handle the truth.
On last nights Go Radio Football Show they were having this tired old discussion at what to call the Glasgow Derby as one *Rangers fan called the show to practically plead with the pundits that it should be called the Old F*rm.
Craig Moore obviously kept the lie alive by calling it by its old moniker (a £1.1m EBT will do that to you) but when Hartson was asked about it, his reply was first class:
The Old F*rm game died when *Rangers liquidated.
No ifs. No buts.
And the sheer hypocrisy of these fans from Ibrox crying about us not using the Old F*rm tag when all they have done is beat and wail about not wanting to be associated with us in the Sydney Cup is breathtaking.
You can’t have it both ways.
