He just has a knack of winding the *Rangers up doesn’t he?
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton wrote in his column on Saturday that Ange Postecoglou should win manager of the year regardless of whether he wins the title or not.
From where he picked up the club, to where he has taken this season so far is quite remarkable and should Postecoglou win the treble, he should have a stand named after him.
Ok, the stand is a bit too far, but imagine the meltdown across the water if he did?
It would be a thing of beauty!
Especially after the reaction to Sutton tweeting out his Manager of the Year suggestion:
And the ironic thing is *Rangers fans are bleating about Ange spending £24m in one season when Gerrard spent over £40m and helping his club incur losses of £100m just for one trophy.
Ange has done in one season with less money than Gerrard accomplished in three.
And the Ibrox support don’t like it.
From their prediction that Ange would be sacked by Christmas and the league would be over in October to now playing second fiddle to Ange at his Homecoming Tour, it won’t be the massive financial losses that will destroy this new Rangers at the end of the season.
It will be an unknown Aussie.
Couldn’t care if he gets it. He’s spent 25m for his team and still officials have gifted 20+ points to them. We’ve all see the IF VAR stats it would show Rangers being 19 points clear.
Almost as if there is pending multiple court cases.
