The Banter Years are back as Rangers latest piece of transfer business hits the headlines.
Ryan Kent, the King of the Stepover, the Prince of Falls, the Baron of Tripping is being linked with a move to Burnley.
The Championship side are planning for next season and apparently they see Ryan Kent as a player they believe can keep them in the English Premier League.
Quite astonishing really when Kent can’t even keep Rangers in a twi horse title race but whatever floats your boat.
Kent is available on a free after at the end if the season refusing to sing a new deal at the Ibrox club.
But what I, along with these Celtic fans, am struggling to understand is in what way, shape or form is Kent going to bolster their EPL status?
He doesn’t score. He couldn’t even assist an old lady across the road at a pelican crossing with a red light.
He has a cracking haircut though. Maybe Burnley are hoping that Erling Haaland will be too busy laughing at his bonce to be focused on hitting the back of the net.
But in all seriousness, it’s not just that Kent is a bad player. He’s a bad player that cost £7m.
I cant believe for one second that a team that has spent so long getting to the EPL sees him as a serious player.
And neither do these Celtic fans.
