This has been a long transfer window. I’m not going to lie. The constant updates and searching for that little nugget of information that could lead to new Celtic transfer news has been tiring.
So when the window slammed shut last night, it was a chance to take a deep breath, sit back and relax and start to enjoy just talking about the football again.
We’ll maybe keep that sentiment for tomorrow because this morning, one last piece of transfer news broke regarding ex Celt, Olivier Ntcham.
Ntcham was incredibly released by the club just over a month ago and has since failed to find a club. Until now.
Once valued at £14m, Ntcham has seen a major decline in his career as he appeared to down tools last year after Celtic refused to sell him as they focused on the ten in a row campaign.
Reports this morning suggest that the enigmatic Frenchman may have found himself a new club as Wales Online have told that they expect the former France u21 star to sign for Swansea today.
The former Celtic midfielder is said to be undergoing a medical at the English Championship club as they look to spearhead a promotion push to the English Premier League.
If The Swans get the Olivier Ntcham that the Hoops supporters fell in love with under Brendan Rodgers, then what a player they will have on their hands.
But if it’s the same Ntcham we had come to know that led him to being freed in the summer, I hope the Welsh side have an insurance policy back up.
