Aberdeen fans outrageous sectarian singing
Something I thought we never see nor hear from the visiting supporters from the north.
In their small and misguided chant, the Dons fans drew out a shocking songbook that would only be expected from our friends from the south side of Glasgow.
We all know how the Ibrox fans love to bring out the horrific crimes committed by former Celtic boys club coaches in an attempt to point score every time they lose a football argument. But from Aberdeen fans?
They belted out “Jimmy Saville was one of your own” intimating that as Saville was a Catholic he clearly was a Celtic fan.
Failing to understand that Celtic, as a modern club, are one open to all, this has sectarian connotations attached to it and the club should demand action from Aberdeen to sanction those fans but as we all know, they won’t and this kind off behaviour will just be tolerated.
