Everton. One of the worst jobs to get in English football.
Them and Man United.
Both those clubs have ruined managers careers and reputations but you only need to look at what happened to Rafa Benitez to see how one club can make you look like an idiot in less than a season.
They’ve been tin pot since David Moyes left and even at that, since the 80’s they have done nothing but flirt with relegation.
So would Postecoglou fancy going from Champions League football and guaranteed trophies every season?
According to Football Insider’s Noel Whelan (yeah I don’t know who he is either) he would, “Absolutely. Everton are historically a big club.
“They’ve got great history behind them, a great fanbase, and it’s a really great club to be at – I loved my time there as a kid.
“I think they need a different way to go. They’ve brought in some top players, some exciting attacking players – and it just doesn’t seem to be working.
“I think Postecoglou would be looking at that and thinking he could get a lot more out of that squad than Lampard is.
WTF does Noel Whelan know about big clubs and what Postecoglou is thinking?
If this so called pundit knew anything about our gaffer he wouldn’t come away with such spurious p*sh.
You know what? Rather than me ranting about this clown, I’ll let these Celtic fans tell you what they really think:
That pretty much sums up my feelings on this pile oh sh*te.
- Celtic fans will remember what Terry Butcher said about sectarianism and it should be a lesson to Ally McCoist
- Watch what Ally McCoist historically said about Donald Findlay and how it comes back to haunt him this week, Celtic fans will love this
