It’s the news we have all been waiting for. The news that all Celtic fans believe boosts our chances of beating Rangers this coming Sunday and bolstering our chances of winning yet another treble.
Ange Postecoglou confirmed today that we can expect the return of the injured trio Reo Hatate, Jota and Liel Abada for this Sunday’s 130pm showdown with Rangers.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ange said, “From last week everyone got through unscathed and Abada, Jota and Reo have trained all week so they are available.
“[James] Forrest is probably another week or so away.”
Liel Abada has been missing with a thigh injury since he returned from international duty in March.
Reo Hatate has been out for three weeks and Jota for the last two weeks.
Celtic did seem to struggle for creativity without the trio against Motherwell and the fans will be delighted at their imminent return.
The Scottish Cup brings a welcome distraction from the SPFL post-splot fixture furore. It will help refocus the minds of the fans to the bigger picture of winning the treble.
With the Green Brigade’s plea for the Celtic support to wear the Hoops this Sunday, it promises to be a colourful affair on and off the pitch.
