We all love a good cup shock don’t we?
But I have to say, that result for Darvel last night must go down as one of the biggest upsets in Scottish football history. Ever.
The 6th tier club stunned the Dons on the 19th minute after going 1-0 up and the SPFL side just could recover.
And as the whole of Scottish football pointed the finger and laughed, the Sevco fans were sent a stark reminder that their club’s record against the Dons isn’t exactly one that they should be proud of:
And that is exactly where they are at.
Almost every game since Beale’s arrival has seen the Ibrox side go behind only for them to scrape victories, more notably against the Dons at Pittodrie.
The Ibrox side are a pale imitation of a football team. Slow, boring and predictable, it is just a matter of time before the arrogance of Beale catches up with them and he and his team find themselves on the wrong end a sound beating.
Beale will be found out soon enough and then he will definitely know his place.
