Scandalous Twitter abuse of young Hibs fan’s trip to Hampden shames the Sevco supporters

Regular readers of my site will know I love to rip into the club from Ibrox. Respectfully, of course, but mainly using their own fans reactions to a bad result or the Celtic fans trolling them on social media.

All in good fun but never spiteful or with hate.

Unfortunately, some grown men had an issue with a young Hibee making his first trip to Hampden to watch his team play Rangers in the second of the weekends Premier Sports Cup semi final and aimed horrific abuse at a tweet sent by his dad celebrating the youngsters first trip to the national stadium.

And how many of us have done this? I have myself twice when I took my daughters to their first Celtic match at Parkhead. It’s a lovely family moment that should be cherished. Unless your opponents are the Govan mob then I would think twice.

Because their reaction to the wee man’s first foray to Hampden was an absolute disgrace as the lowest common denominator in their support continues to shame all decent fans.

To add balance tho there were Rangers fans that called out this abhorrent abuse:

But at least the wee man had the last laugh. Hope he has a brilliant day on the 19th.
