“Now We Can Get Cracking” – Postecoglou Ready To Get To Work

Ange Postecoglou landed in Glasgow this afternoon and was bullish as he told of his delight at being able to get started at Celtic Park.

It seems like an age since Postecoglou was named as the next Celtic gaffer as the big Australians self isolation period ends and hopefully now Celtic fans can look forward to seeing what their new boss can bring to the club.

Speaking to the official Celtic website, Postecoglou said, “It’s great to be here,” he said. “It’s been a tough three weeks to get here but I’m super happy to be here now.

‘It’s been a bit of a whirlwind and I knew it wouldn’t sink in that I’m the new Celtic manager until I got here. Now I can get cracking and start working.’

“I got to meet everyone and put everything in place that we need to. It’s been fantastic. I already had some familiarity with it but it’s a great set-up. The people here are fantastic and I’m looking forward to working with everyone. Everyone keeps warning me about the weather but it all looks pretty beautiful at the moment.”

There is no doubt that there is much work to be getting on with and the Celtic fans will be especially keen to see some new faces come through the Parkhead gates in time for the Champions League qualifiers which start in less than a month.

Hopefully now, the transfer rumours will become transfer facts as The Age of Ange begins.
