As the story broke today of Celtic closing in on the signing of Reo Hatate, there was much excitement being felt by the Celtic fans.
Hatate has been tracked by Celtic for a number of months now and as he looks to be Ange Postecoglou’s first signing of the transfer window, football fansite Football Fancast have claimed that Hatate would be a dream signing for Ange.
A left sided attacking full back, Hatate certainly seems to fit the mould for style of football Celtic like to play and his stats so far this season have been outstanding.
Football stats expert Sacha Pisani said at the start of the month that Hatate would be an ‘excellent’ signing for Celtic in a brilliant thread on twitter that shows just how good a signing the Kawasaki Frontale star would be for the Glasgow giants:
As the Hoops fans look forward to Ange Postecoglou’s first real transfer window, if he does manage to pull off this signing, it would no doubt be an excellent piece of business for the Hoops gaffer.
