Better than Dembele and Edouard – Hugh Keevins says ‘sensational’ Celtic star is a ‘treat to watch’

Celtic Park from the Forge car park

No you don’t need to read the headline again, you read it right the first time.

Hugh Keevins is actually praising a Celtic player.

He must be fed up with his vendetta against Carl Starfelt (until he makes his next misplaced pass) and has decided to change tact and praise our Japanese bhoy , Kyogo.

The 27 year old has been in great form for Celtic with 22 goals to his name (no penalties) and Keevins reckons he is better to watch than Dembele and Edouard.

Spraking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Keevins said, “You spoke earlier on about entertainment and one of the earlier callers said he’d rather watch Celtic than Rangers etc etc.

“I would rather watch Kyogo than Moussa Dembele or Odsonne Edouard.

“I just find the energy and what he brings to the team and his goalscoring ability. I go back to that game at Dundee United when it was nine nil at Tannadice.

He was sensational that day. He scores from distance, he scores from close in. He is a treat to watch.”

All three players have different qualities to be honest. Kyogo is a real live wire whereas Dembele was just a powerhouse. Edouard somehow had the magical ability to make the ball stick to his feet.

So instead of comparing three great former Celtic players, let’s just enjoy the fact we enjoyed two of them in the Hoops and have one currently at the club.
