Ange Postecoglou is on record as saying that when he looks at potential transfer deals for Celtic, skill isn’t enough to convince him that you are worthy of pulling on the famous green and white hoops.

Ability only gets you so far but you must also have application and be a good human being.

That is why the Celtic dressing room is a tight knit unit.

It is also why Josip Juranovic got so many heartfelt replies from the players at the club to his Instagram post when he said goodbye to the fans [Vital Celtic].

And it seems that Oh Hyue-gyu will fit right in after these comments from South Korean star Son Heung Min.

As reported by the Daily Record, Son revealed, “I am only at the World Cup because Oh sacrificed his place in the squad for me.

“What I want to say to him is thank you so much. Even though he is a young player, he decided to try and help the team. Although he wasn’t in the final roster, he was the most important player in the squad in my eyes.”

Absolute class from the man.

For such an unselfish act, he is being rewarded with a move to one of the biggest clubs in the world.

His time at another World Cup will come and it will be as a Celtic player.
