“He’s not good enough to be at Celtic.” – Mark Guidi’s unfair criticism of summer signing

The backlash from the Rangers defeat on Saturday has brought out all the moonhowlers from Ibrox. As they celebrate a nothing win in a Glasgow Derby, we will hopefully be celebrating a treble at the end of the season.

It’s all about levels I suppose. And journalist Mark Guidi seems to have stooped to a new one by criticising Celtic defender Alexandro Bernabei.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, Giudi said, “Bernabei,  I’ve seen enough for me to make a judgement.

“At certain points you can pass an opinion and some and not a judgement, but I’ll make a judgement on Bernabei, for me, he’s not good enough to be at Celtic.”

Very harsh considering Bernabei has hardly had enough consistent gametime to form any sort of real opinion.

In fact, the Argentinian was being lauded after his wondergoal against Ross County just a few weeks ago.

What is correct though is that the Celtic fans clearly love him. Their chants of Argentina at the end of every away day shows that they have taken the youngster to their hearts.

I’m sure we’ll see a bit more of Bernabei over the coming weeks as Ange Postecoglou gives his fringe players a run out.

Then and only then can we make a proper judgement on the player.
