“He’s an absolute disgrace” – Clyde 1 pundit slaughters Alfie with scattergun attack

Celtic Park from Janefield Street

You know what, for all I love this kind of content, you do have to feel for the Rangers fans when it comes to Alfie right?

I mean they genuinely love the guy and he could not give two flying rubber ducks.

It’s magnificent.

The more they love him, the more he sticks two fingers up to them. It’s the most brutal kind of passive aggressiveness you will ever see.

His performance on Saturday pretty much summed up his attitude towards them.

A shockingly poor performance helped his side drop two points in Paisley and pundit, Gordon Dalziel called him out beautifully on Clyde 1.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Dalziel said, “Every single player for me, you look at basically the last two weeks, two and a half weeks, three weeks, we do for fun, team of the week.

You wouldn’t think of putting a Rangers player in it. That would never have been heard of.

None of them are performing at any level for me. You’ve got a guy, in Morelos, which I was a massive fan of, I think he’s running about.

I think he’s an absolute disgrace the way he’s going about his business.

“You’ve got guys, to me, that look like they’re running down their contract.

That again, to me, looks like they’re not interested.

That obviously comes and must stem somewhere from the manager as well.”

Alfie, the manager and the players all copped it in a brilliant rant.

Troubling times are ahead for the club and they really should do two things.

Let Gio go. Put him out his misery and sell the Colombian.

In fact, scrub that, keep them both and let the Banter Years commence.
