“He’ll Be On The Move” – Barry Ferguson Tips Hoops Star For EPL Move

I suppose it was just a matter of time really. No sooner had the Ryan Christie appreciation comments started, the talk of moving him on began.

It’s predictable and to be honest, expected.

With less than six months left on his contract, Christie is expected to move on, but with rumours in the media that he is open to extending his stay, after the opening few games of the season and looking at Christies performances so far, the Hoops fans will be hopeful that Ange Postecoglou can persuade the dynamic midfielder to sign a new contract.

Speaking on Go Radio, former *Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson has tipped Christie to move and believes the Scotland international will be on English clubs’ radar, especially after his performance against Dundee on Sunday, “If I was his agent I’d be trying to get him down south!

“It looks to me, and to the Celtic fans I’ve spoken to, that he’ll be on the move. That will be a big loss to Celtic.

“He was on a different level against Dundee. That ball he slipped through for Furuhashi’s hat-trick was eye of the needle stuff.

“In that sort of form Ryan Christie is a top player. He had an off season last term like a lot of players at Celtic but on his game he’s a top player and he’s shown that.”

It does seem to me that Christie is really enjoying his football under Postecoglou and he looks a different player in this team compared to what we saw under Neil Lennon and hopefully, for the fans, this will be enough to persuade Christie to stay on for a few years more.

  1. What do u exorcist from a man who what Christie has and can display in his best games, he’s nervous or worried of the class shown on the park of the lad so given his voice he chooses to try get the best players out of celtic as they could scupper his teams chances of a rare double league trophy, a friend of Alex Rae? I wonder🤔🤣🤣
