“He admitted we deserved the victory” – Hoops player keeps on impressing with his class

Celtic ‘keeper Joe Hart has been impressing the media, pundits and opposition players alike since his big move to Celtic this summer.

Even after the Hoops defeat to Livingston, the former England stopper was gracious in defeat.

Speaking to Polish news site Meczyki, Livingston No1 Maksymilian Stryjek told how Hart congratulated him on his performance and said that The Lions deserved their victory, “We gave a high five, we talked for a while, we exchanged t-shirts. He kept his class. He admitted that we deserved the victory.

Almost all Celtic players went straight to the dressing room – including Josip Juranović – and he [Hart] went to thank his fans and was able to congratulate us.

Their goalkeeping coach [Stevie Woods] was fine too, he praised me for my good performance and wished me good luck.”

Hart has been one of the top performers for the Hoops side this season but even he had no chance of stopping Livi from man, Andrew Shinnies wonder strike to take all three points.

In fact, were it not for Hart, the scoreline could have been even more embarrassing as the big veteran goalie made two great saves in the second half which would have seen a narrow 1-0 loss turn into a humiliation.

Hart has been praised for his professionalism on more than one occasion this season. At half time when Celtic were cruising to a 6-0 win against ST Mirren, Jak Alnwick revealed he received a pep talk from Hart as he could see a fellow goalkeeper struggling.

Class act is our Joe.
