One of the unsung heroes of the current Celtic revival is Greg Taylor.
Whilst the creative players like Jota, Abada and Kyogo grab all the headlines for Celtic, the young Taylor has been quietly, but effectively going about his business for the club.
And as Celtic tweeted to the fans asking this:
Taylor has been receiving brilliant praise from the fans for his consistency.
Signed as a direct replacement for Kieran Tierney, Taylor was the subject of much unfair criticism as fans and pundits compared him to the former Celtic child prodigy.
Taylor has been a mainstay in this Celtic side under Ange Postecoglou.
Even the signing of Alexandro Bernabei didn’t phase the young Scotsman.
In fact, it seemed to spur him on.
So much so that even at Champions League level, Taylor didn’t look out of place amongst teams such as RB Leipzig and Real Madrid.
Taylor will go from strength to strength under Ange and when you look at how he is viewed now amongst the fans compared to two seasons ago under Lennon, the work the Aussie gaffer has done to turn his career around is nothing short of remarkable.
