It does look like this one is coming to an end this weekend.
Giorgos Giakoumakis will be an Atlanta United player probably before Celtic kick off at Tannadice tomorrow afternoon.
Thus long running saga is nearing it’s conclusion as Marco Molla reports that thenclub have accepted an increased offer from the MLS side and that the player has agreed personal terms with the club.

It does seem that Giakoumakis has done the dirty on Urawa Reds and reneged on a verbal agreement on the Japanese club in what seems reminiscent of his own claims that Celtic broke a verbal agreement with him on an improved contract.
No moral high ground can be take here I see.
I hope Giakoumakis does become a success in the MLS, his last two seasons have earned him his big money move but I just cannot help but think he is making a mistake and so are Celtic.
But, In Ange We Trust and we move on.
With new signing Oh expected to play so e part tomorrow it will be interesting to see what the South Korean brings to the table.
