“Fulfill Your Dream” – Iniesta’s Class Tweet to Celtic New Bhoy

As the Celtic fans await the arrival of new signing Kyogo Furuhashi, one man that is desperately sad to see his team mate go is the legendary Andres Iniesta.

Iniesta was Furuhashi’s team mate when he joined Vissel Kobe back in 2018 and the 131 cap Spanish superstar is a huge admirer of his Japanese team mate and was clearly emotional in an interview where he paid tribute to his now former team mate, “Today is a sad day because we are saying farewell to Kyogo, but he is going to Europe to make his dreams come true.

“I came here to show him my respect. He’s a professional who has realised his goal.

“It’s going to be tough in Kobe without him, but I’ll do my best to get some positive results.

But his praise did not stop there. Iniesta took to Twitter to post his emotional farewell in Japanese and Spanish as he wished his friend good luck on his move to the Glasgow giants:

Translated, Iniesta wrote:

Friend, a pleasure to share your wardrobe with you and see your growth. I am very happy that you can fulfill your dream of playing in European football. Good luck,@kyogo_furuhashi

Clearly both players had a very close bond and Furuhashi has also publicly spoken of the influence Iniesta has had on his career.

With an endorsement from Iniesta, it does seem the Celtic fans are in for a special treat when Furuhashi pulls on those famous green and white hoops.
