It’s not even October and already we are talking about transfer stories. As the domestic action (finally) returns to our shores, the Hoops fans will be looking forward to the next month with Motherwell coming to visit and the away trip to Leipzig coming up.

But it’s a transfer story that is doing the rounds today with Oscar Gloukh dominating early morning headlines.

The young Israeli star has apparently been on the radar of Ange Postecoglou [Daily Record] and according to reports this morning, the 18 year old attacking midfielder has rejected the chance to extend his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Gloukh is thought to be sought after with clubs all around Europe sniffing about him.

The teenager’s contract expires in December 2023 and is valued at just over £3m [Transfermarkt].

The attacking midfielder has been in great form this season already where after just 9 appearances he has scored 3 and created 4.

The youngster certainly has a lot of potential and as he enters the final year of his contract, he could be available for a cut price deal.
