Celtic’s Brazilian target’s agent shares video of wonder goal

As the Celtic sphere gets excited about the newly reported transfer target of Fernando Henrique, there has already been much written about him and in fact, articles written about video footage of the young 20 year old midfielder.

But there was a video posted to YouTube by Henrique’s agency, Upper Agency, that was taken back in August 2020 that shows an incredible wonder strike by the Gremio midfielder that would grace any pitch across Europe.

The technique, composure and vision to pull off such a wonder strike is a thing of beauty at such a young age and with a further year of development under his belt since this video was shot, it is no wonder Gremio are looking for in excess of £3m for the midfield dynamo.

What was also interesting about this footage is the versatility of Henrique. Great at breaking up the play, superb in the pass, this is a type of player that would suit Ange Postecoglou’s style to a T.

Should Celtic sign Jota now or wait till end of the season? Take the poll HERE!

He can turn defence into attack with a pinpoint accuracy pass in a second but he also has the vision and nous to break up opposition play high up the pitch and in and around his own 18 yard box.

With Celtic gaffer, Ange Postecoglou, insisting that a defensive performance from the team is more important than a clean sheet, it seems this young man has it all in his locker to be a part of the Ange Revolution.

The only issue I can see with this move is the club’s ability to obtain a work permit, but with Postecoglou casting his net further than the Asian markets, this January window is certainly going to be an interesting one.
